Spumoni Gardens is one of the best (or THE best) pizza places in the city, right @AdamRichman?
It’s in the Gravesend/Bensonhurst area of Brooklyn which is a bit of a treck to get to from Manhattan, but it’s SO worth it.
If you go, you have to get the Sicillian pizza and it’s unique because they bake the cheese on the dough and THEN add sauce and a bit of grated cheese on the top.
This pizza is to die for and i’m so glad i got to have some of it this weekend.
